NTEN, and specifically The Non Profit Technology Conference (http://www.nten.org/ntc) holds a special place in Jackson River lore. Its true, we have been attending since before we started Jackson River, but when we started Jackson River we became infamous. You see, TJ Griffin, Alice Hendricks and myself announed the start of our fledging company 5 years ago at NTC in N'awlins.

Gearing up for the November elections, EMILY's List recently launched a new website built on Jackson River's Springboard platform. We were very excited to work with EMILY’s List, a group dedicated to electing pro-choice Democratic women to office. They do so through a variety of outreach programs as well as directly training, supporting and endorsing rising Democratic women candidates in state and federal races.

One of the cooler projects we work on is the Democratic Intranet on Capitol Hill - aka - DemCom. We work on the project with the Office of the Democratic Whip and have been developing the intranet for about 3 years now. DemCom is powered by Drupal 6 and has lots of bells and whisteles - such as LDAP integration, complex organic groups, and consumes data from a variety of external sources.
